Information

Chester Noble is like marmite. Not in the sense that he's a jar of goopy black stuff but in the sense that while half the school loves him, the other half hates him. He's attractive and well aware of it, is a natural charmer and knows exactly what to say to make most girls happy. Unfortunately this means that he's made a lot of female friends... and a lot of male enemies. Add that initial cockiness to the fact that he has a natural talent for almost anything and even I'm starting to dislike him.

He was born into a pure blood family that didn't really care either way about the whole muggleborn thing. His parents were essentially nice people but had very little time to look after a child and he was mostly left on his own. They only really started to pay attention to him when he began to show fantastic magical potential. This seems like one of those stories where Chester would then spend every waking moment practising and becoming better at things so his parents would TRULY LOVE HIM but actually he didn't need to. He was just naturally good at things.

At his muggle primary school things were a little crazy. As you can imagine, cute blue-eyed-blonde four-year-old Chester charmed the teachers and back then he obviously wasn't that interested in the shameless flirting so he got pretty well with people. He was never that interested in his school work and much prefered to be outside playing sports with the other kids. This whole situation was playing out quite nicely until the magic showed up. We'll just say that there were a few incidents (involving a lot of meercats, blue wigs and raining footballs) and after that, he had to be home schooled.

When he finally recieved his Hogwarts letter he was delighted to be allowed back into the social world. He made friends on his first day and enemies on his second, and things pretty much carried on in that fashion until the present day. It's never boring in the life of Chester Noble.

Relationships

Link Williams When they first came to Hogwarts, Link was Chester's closest friend. Unfortunately Chester never was one for friends or morals, so he didn't think twice about taking Link's girl. Link was obviously not very happy about this arrangement and the two have been at each other's throats since. Chester loves nothing more than to provoke his old friend's short temper, which means he spends most of his time running for his life.

Although Link seems to utterly despise Chester, Chester doesn't actually hate his old friend. He just happens to be really funny to pick on.
